Got 15 months on my rover, so far so good. Love the vehicle after coming from mostly German brands.

Lol...same thought passed my mind. I warned someone recently who was all excited about buying one. I told them about the mechanical issues and that they are a wealthy persons status symbol because you have to be wealthy to keep it running. They bought it and went through a nightmare experience and sold it within 2 months. They didn’t really learn because they bought another vehicle I consider to be a high maintenance brand but haven’t been as talkative about this one.

A buddy of mine got a spectacular used one last year and... brought it out to the ranch :-). This was the second time he’d brought an all wheel drive car out with pretty well used tire’s and ended up going home with 4 new, since you can’t put one new tire on an AWD vehicle. Plus side was he saved about $700 over buying them in NorCal.

The vehicle is awesome, but realizing there is a hard drive in its computer system that will punish you if it fails would be a definite drawback for me.
