Well, someone has to be the adult in the room. This is a well-documented body language gesture that is called steepling, or in this case minor steepling.

Excellent, brief article. Steepling shows confidence in one’s knowledge. I think Trump using the gesture well. I particularly liked his use during his first meeting with Odunga at the WH.
