We have entire cities in the United States now majority Mexican and run by Mexican thugs. Take a look at the city council of Pomona, California and realize that 25 years ago, Pomona was still majority “non-hispanic white” (like it was since its founding in 1888).

No such thing would ever be allowed to happen in Mexico. There would be war.

They see their invasion and takeover of the Southwest as proof of their strength and our weakness. That’s why Trump scares the living crap out of them: they realize he’s on to them, and he’s NOT weak.

Immigration “law” in Mexico? We have the same laws.

Just need to enforce them.

I've done a good bit of foreign traveling over the last 40 years.First World countries like Canada,Britain,Germany,Japan and Australia.Third World countries like India,China,Kenya and Indonesia.

To the very best of my knowledge I have never violated any immigration/residency law of *any* foreign country. And if I ever did violate such a law...intentionally or inadvertently...I'd expect to be treated very harshly.Immediate expulsion at the very least...maybe even imprisonment.

Doors mean something.Locks mean something.Borders mean something.

We need to make one change, illegal entry the first time should be a criminal offense. Currently it is a civil offense. Subsequent illegal entry is a felony, but the first one is not even a misdemeanor.

Passing a virtual copy of the draconian Mexican law on immigration would bring screams from the MSM and the Dems that it was not immigrant friendly.

MEXICAN Emigration law concerning Mexican citizens leaving Mexico to live in and/or work in/or visit another country:

Mexican citizens have to obtain the written permission of their local consular officer before leaving Mexico.

Ergo, millions of Mexians have broken their own emigration laws, not only the USA`s laws. They are double criminals.

Currently it is a civil offense

Negative. Under 8 USC 1325 the first offense is punishable by up to 6 months imprisonment and / or up to a $250 fine.

A federal penalty of less then 1 year imprisonment is a federal misdemeanor.

The fact that typically only a dollar amount civil penalty is exacted is simply a practical measure since there are so many violations and few if any are actually prosecuted. Virtually all people apprehended waive the trial in favor of deportation. They typically try again the next day.

Some interpret this to mean the first offense is civil but this is not true. Offense 1 = Misdemeanor, Offense 2 = Felony. As of now.

Thank you for the update.

The advocates for illegal aliens and their employers are always arguing that it not a crime to enter the US illegally, just a civil offense.

They’ve been furiously trying to undermine our laws and gut our nation for 40 years now.

That ends on January 20th, 2017.
