In CBS’s Madam Secretary episode on Sunday titled “The Detour,” Elizabeth McCord's (Tea Leoni) husband, Henry (Tim Daly), is brought into an FBI investigation of a Christian doomsday cult called the Covenant of John. Raided by authorities in their operation in Bolivia while he was there, Henry has knowledge of the militia group and sets out to determine if Rex Mayfield (James McCaffery), a cult member now living in eastern Virginia, is the bomb-maker responsible for selling a bomb used on an Illinois coffee shop attack on orders from ISIS leader al-Mutaya.
Christians working with ISIS? Far-fetched indeed. The raid on Mayfield’s property in Virginia proves he has made an even bigger bomb and the FBI must find it before it goes off. Under questioning, Mayfield is painted as an ignorant rube when he states the plan is to bring about an apocalypse – a battle between the Crusaders and the Faithful on “the plains of Dubuque.” Devout members of ISIS believe the final battle will be in Dubiq, Syria. Not Dubuque.
The FBI realizes Mayfield wants to bring about a cataclysmic war between Islam and the West. He calls his supporters his “legion of angels.” And he perverts Revelations – “Go your ways and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the Earth.” The FBI then reaches out to other former members of the cult. The quest may bear some fruit with the last person questioned.
Mo: So, you're sure you haven't heard from Mr. Mayfield or any of the other former members of the Covenant of John?
Hobson: Like I said, I'm not into that stuff no more.
Mo: And what about your cousin, Ted? Is he still in the militia?
Hobson: You know, I don't really keep up with Ted. I just go to work, come home. Sometimes see my mother.
Agent: Well, thank you, Mr. Hobson. If anything comes up, give us a call.
Hobson: Will do. Y'all take care now. Ted, it's me. They were here. The time is nigh.
This is what the leftists in La La Land want to promote – the notion that Christians are terrorists on the same level as ISIS. It’s sick.
Next week the Christian militia story will reach a conclusion. Would it be too much to expect a distinction be made between the two religious groups? Yeah, probably.
Note also that the entire series Madam Secretary was a Hillary Clinton fluff piece intended to pave the way for her to the presidency.
Anyone have any idea what kind of rating it has.

There are many contemporary novels where the Christians are depicted as the bad guys. Sure, they show the hypocrisy, but not all Christians are hypocrites. Do they show the good ones, for contrast? No. So they are the liars.
I think designated survivor is the liberal fantasy back up plan.

I think it just may be more than a might now. I learned last night that the CGI or CF never filed the annual filings mandated for every charity. I suppose the AG for New York was not aware of that little tidbit when he made the announcements that the Trump Foundation, which has always filed, could not close theirs while it is still under investigation. I would submit he is fully aware or somebody in his office is in that the Clinton’s never did.
Would be a bonus to see them get ####ed.

I don’t watch anything on CBS. I suggest everyone else would be wise to do the same.
I can show them catholic derivative cults of the cartels that act like ISIs, but that is not white enough for these racists.
10-4. With the public filing for the layoffs of the last staff, they are getting ready to cut and run leaving all their minions to take the rap. There were stories of large transfers (billions) to someplace with no extradition agreements with the US.
Both are dead people walking anyway. I hope that one of the first orders of business is for Sessions to officially request a list of Special Prosecutors to go after all of the corruption that has been blatant for the last administrations and let there be no sacred cows as progressiveness needs to be totally exposed and subsequently totally killed.
I pray the good times roll but not enough to let people forget how we got to this point. It almost happened during the roaring 20’s when being a progressive was a pariah and was when they changed their moniker to Liberal.

Eh, my FReeper better half & I watch & enjoy. Undoubtedly it was meant to usher Miz Clinton into the WH; however, the main character on the show is actually comely in appearance & demeanor, & has a sense of morality, capable of once in a while choosing reason & decency over party politics, power or self-serving goals. It’s thru her & hubby’s children, particularly the rebellious son, that the more shall we say raving lunatic liberal aspects are expressed. In them it’s fine - kids with all their life experience are so cute (not) when trying to lecture adults about life.
It’s a quality show. As entertainment, it’s good mind candy. Despite the naked aims of the Madame Secretary creators, Elizabeth, Henry & the kids are not at all evocative of the despicable Clintons. Maybe they meant it to be an object lesson to Missus William Jefferson herself. *snirk* I would never conflate the fictional family with the real one, LOL.
To Jewish leaders and I guess most of their followers (how else do they become leaders?), at least in the US, they fear someone walking around with a bible MUCH MORE than someone walking around with a knife in one hand and a cut off head in the other.
Hopefully Trump will be able to ‘educate’ them a bit.
