There is a lady at church, retired teacher, precious snowflake on FB. She critiqued our priest for advising the daughter at her mother’s funeral, that since she is living a lesbian lifestyle she cannot receive Communion. Some busybody ran to the priest with that tidbit and he advised her ahead of time in private. She was furious for the woman and thought it unfair. The woman came back to mass on the weekend and did attend Communion, though she didn’t at the funeral. RME Why? Why, when you do not believe do you need to mock those who do? Why would you want them to. There is no good ending to any of this.
