This teacher was probably one of their better ones and more involved than some my kids had that all they were good for was passing out worksheets.

I remember doing that role-playing stuff in my AP History classes. We would read and learn about the stuff and then re-enact the various arguments pro and con. Trying to dress up was stupid though - and there were always a few that had their mom’s sew up period costumes. “What Mr. Brown? I’m pretty sure they had tee-shirts back then!”

And every once in awhile he would put on an “educational” history movie like “Tora Tora Tora” and he’d sit in the back and try to grade papers.

1st time I went to Lookout Mountain I thought “What lunatic thought this would be a great idea?”

But, Sherman couldn’t get to Savanah without taking Chattanooga and going through Lookout Mountain was the only way.
