Miss France (the winner) is drop-dead gorgeous.
Her interpreter was awful. She mentioned that she was in medical school twice and he failed to mention it at all (he butchered some of her other translation too). She did speak fast, but come on!!!
This is the only part of the Miss Universe I am interested. Prefer costumes with historical connotations. My favorites:Austria for the “Sound of Music” theme. China with the pandas. Great Britain as Britannia. Italy as straight out of the Renaissance. Norway as Elsa! Ukraine wearing a traditional folk clothing. What the hell was USA trying to be???

What if an absolutely gorgeous 19 year old who was 5 feet 1 inch, didn’t go to college, didn’t own a boutique, and just wanted to get married and have a family ran. Any chance she’d even get this far? If not, then the whole thing is stupid.
