The only thing that is certain is that we don’t understand it. We don’t even know how much there is of what we don’t understand. I like that, too. It bodes well for eternity.

I like to think that 'spooky action at a distance' is better explained by exchanging the word 'distance' with 'vista', or 'long view'.

For example, when people start noticing [as the narrative plays out] that seemingly random events, circumstances, or outcomes have had great effect on their lives, the entire facade of happenstance starts to become exposed for the illusion that it is. Either it's all random, or it's all orchestrated. Everything is too contingent upon everything else for any individual component to be random. Just because a person doesn't recognize a plan in real time, or at all, doesn't mean there isn't a plan.

Furthermore, life for the most part is a series of conscious, free will decisions; yet in the long broader view, these are the workings out of a grand plan far outside the capacity of the human mind to understand, much less orchestrate. Similar to a parent knowing exactly what little Johnny will do, or did do, given a certain set of circumstances and choices. The kid is always is left wondering in amazement how his mother... knew. ;)

The spirit (Hebrew or Greek, also meaning wind, air), cannot be separated from the physical, because every intended action/creation begins there with a thought, plan, idea, mental blueprint. Physical reality IS the product of the mental action. It is a simple concept that is ubiquitous, like air itself, so it tends to go wholly unnoticed. What is weather forecasting? Observing what is going on in the heavens (the wind, air patterns), in order to ascertain what will be the reality on the ground. If a forecast doesn't accurately predict an outcome, it's a problem with the model, the algorithm, the limited data with which to work. There was reason the storm dumped 24" of snow instead of 12". It was never a matter of 'instead', but rather 'we didn't see that coming.'

My favorite account in the Bible is the entire life of Joseph, starting with Jacob's weddings and the interactions between the sisters. But then it really gets going when Joseph has a couple of dreams, at a point in life when his brothers already envied and despised him. He ends up down a well, sold into slavery, falsely accused by that cougar woman, tossed into jail and left for dead, forgotten about by the chief butler (how on earth could he forget?!)... well you see what went on. Divine orchestration and rectification. Many individuals were making free will choices over many years, but there was a grand plan. The revealing of the hidden:

Gen 45

4. And Joseph said to his brothers, Come near me, I beg you; And they came near; And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom you sold into Egypt:
5. Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that you sold me here; for God did send me before you to preserve life:
6. For these two years has the famine been in the land; and yet there are five years, when there shall neither be plowing nor harvest:
7. And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance:
8. So now it was not you who sent me here, but God; and he has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt:

The brothers sold, but God sent. And the word for ruler is 'mashal', which is also the word for 'parable' (allegory, analogy, likeness). God does not skip one single detail. Why everyone will necessarily bow. :)

If you go back to the text where this particular narrative began (Gen 37), there is an interesting comment by Joseph's father:

9. And he [Joseph] dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brothers, and said, Behold, I have again dreamed a dream; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me:
10. And he told it to his father, and to his brothers; and his father rebuked him, and said to him, What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your mother and your brothers indeed come to bow down ourselves to you to the earth:
11. And his brothers envied him; but his father kept the matter in mind. (lit. he watched/guarded the word)

The numeric value of 'What is this dream that you have dreamed?' is 1130, which is double the value of Messianic light (אור משיח), ohr Mashiach. Ohr is light (insight i.e. vision). Doubled. But I digress. What I am leading to is the very next word in the text, (הבוא) a form of the verb 'to come', that goes with the next sentence. Of course there is much much more, but for this limited scope read as:

What is this dream that you have dreamed that is coming?

This added word (14) makes the gematria of the string 1144, which is the same as "Megillat Esther" (מגילת אסתר) which means the revealing of the hidden. And of course the account in the book of Esther is all about Divine orchestration, with God never being mentioned once in the narrative. Yet He is obviously all over the place, behind the scenes coordinating all those seemingly random events.

Esther means 'star' and has a numeric value of 661, which is the eleventh star number.

Pharaoh named Joseph Tzafnat Paneach, a 'cipher decipherer', based on Joseph's keen insight. Lo and behold, right there in the text is a key to decipher a cipher, in the phrase 'shem Yosef Tzafnat Paneach' (the name of Joseph is Tzafnat Paneach). The last letters of each word, which is also a skip of 4 letters, spells mafteach (מפתח), "key".

What is all this stuff? Spooky action at a distance. :)

I could go on about Rachel and the incident with the dudaim ('mandrakes') - what she saw at a distance. Joseph inherited her eyes, so to speak. Vista. The long view. What Bilaam saw..

Can't separate the spiritual from the physical. It's all... orchestrated.

No you can not, and you see it in scripture. For example, Enoch's description of the four corners that hold up the world can relate to the four known forces.

Even God describing to Mosses how the tabernacle was to be constructed, mentions "units", something fundamental to quantum theory. There are others that need further exploring.
