I thought they were spaghetti westerns because they were shot in Italy.

The dude whistling is playing a bass ukulele. I had no idea there was such a thing. When I first saw it I thought it was some kind of bass acoustic guitar.

That would fill the bill.
What came to mind for myself was a music vid at youtube (that did show up for me in the sidebar listings when checking youtube link C.Martel furnished);
It begins with the gunfight at the graveyard scene from the film, switches from orchestral accompaniment of the piece that was part of the original movie, to dubbing in Metallica's recording possibly from the album We All Love Ennio Morricone while continuing to run the original film scene, ending with no musical score accompanying after the first gunshot from 'Blondie' (Clint Eastwood).
Tuco:
Blondie:
"Last night" [said as he takes the revolver from Tuco while walking past Tuco, takes a few steps more, stops, turns towards Tuco] "You see in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You, dig."
According to wiki for Ecstasy of Gold
Hey Blond! You know...what you are!
The Ukulele Orchestra version is pretty cool, though...

Cool photo of the "Sad Hill Cemetery" film site in Spain. There is a private organization that's trying to organize and raise funds to preserve the site.

I found this on a blog site who visited the site in 2014. Someone is taking care of the graves.

Yeah, someone did a memorial to Eli Wallach by putting his name on a marker there.
