Good post. Enjoying their characters on film and TV is exactly how I’d like to remember actors. This crop of filth in Hollyweird now is making that impossible.

I guess that thing (to me at least) is that I never knew his politics - he could have been a huge leftie for all I know (most of Hollyweird is) but by keeping his politics out of the equation it allowed me to enjoy his craft.
