A leaked picture of two fearsome Chinese tanks has sparked speculation that China is developing new military vehicles.
State media China.com reported that the vehicle at the front is thought to be the new heavy infantry tank while the yellow vehicle could be the second-generation paratrooper fighting vehicle.
The news came after tension had risen between China and the United States over the issues on the sovereignty of Taiwan and the control of the South China Sea.

Just as China built this giant-world's largest dam now they are building the largest tank. Almost all dictatorships focus their attention on glory projects.
Just as the Nazis made huge tanks that were too large for the unimproved roads and bridges that compromised most of Europe, China is making the same mistake....go figure.
Modern tank theory demands that you need to be as low-profile as possible. These big square boxes are TOW bait.

China keeps North Korea around so they have someone to feel superior to... That’s really all we need to know about the psychology of China’s ‘leaders’.
Actually getting them to Taiwan will be more than a small problem.

Didn’t Hitler try to build a monster “Land Battleship”? I think it was called the “Mouse” They built one and it was so heavy it couldn’t really move far or fast and wrecked the roads it was on. They never mounted a turret on the thing but it was to have two 88 guns mounted like a battleship. Too bad they didn’t finish it—might have been helpful when the Russians overran East Prussia.
