Tom Hanks doesn't want the White House press corps sleeping on Donald Trump, so he took precautions to prevent just that ... with espresso. ABC White House correspondent Karen Travers thanked Hanks Thursday for the brand new espresso machine he sent for her colleagues in the West Wing. Tom attached a note, telling the press corps to "keep up the good fight for Truth, Justice, and the American Way. Especially for the Truth part." We know what it looks like, but ... Tom also did this during Dubya and Obama's administrations. Stay woke!
Hard to know which side he is on. Of course I have my fears. I do like him personally.

His short video, posted here on FR, about the New York waterways passenger ferries captains and crewmembers on 9/11 was nicely done.
The waterway ferries are not the Staten Island ferries but small boats that carry commuters into New York city from points north.
Truth, but not the whole truth, apparently. Only the truth that paints the picture they want you to see, while skipping the rest.

He’s smart and at least somewhat wise, which is why when he goes to the left I feel sad. I “know” him from an online health community and he is a genuine person.

There is nothing that Hanks can ever do to undo his participation in arguably one of the most conservative movies Hollywood has ever produced, Forrest Gump. How in the world did it ever get made? Hanks is so guilt ridden about it that he has to perpetually apologize for his apostasy. His present-day activism is a progressive’s version of sackcloth and ashes, and he must grovel before the self-appointed priest and priestess actors and actresses in Hollywood, the Vatican of the progressive movement.
Ooooooo! He sprung for the good stuff!
Tom Hank’s wife was raised Greek Orthodox, and he converted when they got married. For some reason, the Greeks are predominantly liberal. If Tom Hanks could just stick to being an Orthodox Christian, and less time trying to act like a liberal Greek, maybe he can keep an open mind with our new President.
Or rent it for a quarter. 😀
