I remember watching that show when I was a kid. One of the competitions was Simon Says.

Great show whose re-boot is guaranteed to suck. It worked in the 70s because it was politically incorrect.

Even though he Oscars ratings were in the tank, and people aren’t watching as much TV and movies anymore, these network people still think they can make us care about ‘celebrities’. They just can’t give up. There’s still a small segment out there that live their lives around celebrities lives.

If they make it like ninja warrior with these pompous stars getting pummeled unmercifully I might watch.

As Saturday Night Live used to call it in one of their skits back in the 70s “Battle of the T & A’s”

Scott Baio, Mark Hammon, Jaclyn Smith and Lisa Bonet were seriously good athletes. I went to the campus at Pepperdine to see the competitions. It was fun.

Mark Hammon You mean Mark Harmon? His dad was a Heisman Trophy winner with Michigan and joined the Marines for WW II.

Yes those see thru bathing suits the women wore that they knew would bring in the ratings.
Can still watch the shows at youtube. Not blu ray quality.

Yes, I do. Funny thing is to, I met him years after and had my picture taken with him...I also had my picture taken with Dolph Lundgren last month. LA is lousy with celebs.
