I’ll just say.
King Kong is not the bad guy in this film.
Not terribly surprising. The film was largely about making a long series of believable video clips with spectacular scenery, and a (bunch) of creepy monsters.
I say go. I really liked it.
From what you have said here and the little I have seen about it the premise sounds pretty cool I have to say.
Certainly a movie critic not digging a giant monster movie is not going to stop me. I mean come on.
