I thought I was the only one that remembered this song, lol. I hated it at first, but MTV played it SO MUCH (they didn’t really have that many videos then) that it grew on me and I still sing it to myself today. Thanks for posting.

Sounds kind of like Madonna. Only this lady doesn’t look like she has anything communicable.

This song reminds of a time that I should probably keep to myself. This song was popular right about the same time that I hit the legal drinking age (20, damn I’m old!) in Nebraska. As is the case with guys of that age, my college buddies and I used to frequent bars that offered a certain type of “entertainment” for those that have reached “adulthood”. All of the “entertainers” used to dance to this song. It was typically heard several times a night. Ah the memories... I can smell the odor of Calvin Klein Obsession those girls used to slather on even now.

Whenever we hear this song on one of the’80’s stations my wife always jokes “Isn’t this the stripper song?”

You are a kid-—I was in my early 50s then.:-)

This was definitely a one hit wonder.

Actually, their Point of No Return song was much better, IMO.

Great memories of dancing the night away at the enlisted clubs in Norfolk, Little Creek and Fort Eustice.
