Saw him in a Hollywood Club in the early 80’s. IIRC his very attractive Daughter opened the show with her own band. Mind you it was 34 or so years ago.
One of the very greatest R&Rers of all time. Megahit-maker, and notice, one if the FEW black guitarists ever in serious stardom.
Underrated as perhaps the best guitarist ever.
