I admit I almost choked up in the ending of the Natural and Hoosiers. Hoosiers, especially when Gene hackman was narrating in the end while this small kid was shooting hoops and the scene panned to the big picture of the team with the trophy. My Gf back the asked me ‘are you crying??”
Movies: The first time I saw Forrest Gump, I cried like a baby. I had gone to it with my kids, son was 10 and took a buddy with him. Just the fact that the kids actually sat with me in the theater was enough to strike my emotions, but I kept thinking that the character of Forrest Gump was a hero, never realized it, just going through his life as it came at him. For some strange reason, I also cried at Toy Story, because Buzz Lightyear SO wanted to be a superhero, and in the end, he was just a toy.... Sort of reminded me of men in general, not in a bad way, just probably related to balancing pride and humility...
