WHAT?!? Do you know how it traumatizes children, when they’re adopted? You need to talk to more adults who were adopted children. Every last one internalizes the rejection, and suffers greatly from it.
No mother should give up the sacred mother-child bond, just because the bio-father is a jerk. You know what this child needs? Her biological mommy, and that’s exactly what she’s got.
