Just got back from the hospital,CT scan reveals I've got colon cancer and it's spread.I think I'm probably a dead man walking.

yes you should share this with us. Listen, I dated and loved a dude who was a colon cancer survivor. Had his ostomy bag and all sewed up in the back. Did fine. The one thing he hadn’t been told was that the chemo is very hard on your heart.

My sister had it too. Radiation, surgery, chemo in some order I can’t remember. She is doing fine.

Dean, did you have a colonoscopy that found something suspicious, then had the CT? Or was it an incidental finding from the CT?

My FIL had his colon cancer removed about 8 years ago. Then he had treatment for throat cancer last year. He is still going and cancer free now.

I don’t pretend to know the Mind of God. I don’t know why some survive and some don’t. But I know that I didn’t cure myself. God was at the head of my team, and He will be there at my journey’s end. I don’t believe it has anything to do with anyone being more special than anyone else. We all have our place in this world, and only God knows for sure what that place is. I do my best to fulfill the role I think He wants me to. Some day I’ll find out how well I did, and that will be between me and God.
