LOL! Yeah that’s another thing, what happened there? All of them had guns pointed at their head and next thing I know they all got guns except for Rick and are suddenly in combat mode blasting away.

Miracles occur when you need the main characters to escape. For example, no one saw the tiger until it saved carl?
Sad news, his art makes me feel like a complete amateur.
Except for Carl. He's aged 10 years. LOL
Yeah, I think that was Dwight's doing. Sending a message to Rick's gang that he didn't know that Jadis and her band of unmerry folks had turned on Rick.
Yes. But westerns and war flicks are usually in the context of life or history they are not usually fantasy. I like Law and Order but the death in that show is in context with reality based on true events and there is an attempt to bring the perps to justice. The zombie stuff is fantasy. People tattooing themselves with death symbols, ghosts, skulls, etc, people wearing clothing with skulls or the grim reaper suggests a detachment from reality. I would like to see how many people would be fascinated with this stuff if the true image and odor were attached. Tarantino flicks are simply violent with very little meaning to the story; in effect they are pornography. Shane, High Noon, Battleground, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, even Platoon, American Sniper, 13 Hours and Lone Survivor all had meaning. Much of the fantasy death genre has zippo meaning, like the mindless violent video games that are so popular.
True! Ha!
:-)
Yeah, pretty sure that was Dwight.

Fan service, just like in Game of Thrones. Abraham was one of my favorite characters and a darn good actor. They should have killed someone useless like the gay “husband.”

IIRC, it was a soldier, not an animal figure. I'm pretty sure that Dwight (burned face) was seen whittling on similar things earlier in the season - plus it plays into the Daryl-vs.-Dwight conflict subplot. Will Daryl believe that Dwight wasn't part of the double-cross?
The one thing about the episode that really annoys me is the stupidity of trusting new (read: unproven) allies to the point where the sniper overwatch is compromised. The "Heapsters" shouldn't have even known that Michonne was up there.
Rick also trusted the Hilltop drunk too. Is it just because you meet real humans in the zombie apocalypse you are automatically brothers in arms?
Rick needs to do some real critical thinking next time.
no they are human beings who have become primal, who take on a skin of a walker and walk among a heard of walkers..they whisper so the real walkers wont notice. They are able to herd the walkers in directions they want to go and hide among them..If any hostile humans enter their territory they can bring out the knifes and kill them

"This is Command. Command to Fanbase: The Tiger has jumped the Shark. Repeat: The Tiger has jumped the Shark. Abandon all hope at sense in this series. Turn off your TVs and go do something worthwhile with your time. Fanbase, abandon. Repeat: Abandon NOW. Command OUT!"
Yet someone told me season 2 had a terrific ending.
Too much trust in desperate times. I agree that the Heapsters seemed sketchy all along but Rick (and group) were trying for numbers. I do predict Oceanside (aka the Amazons) will make an entry at some point and for some reason... I do trust them. (maybe because their loss of men and boys impacted the group so mentally). Thanks for the soldier figure info. Not 100% sure on Dwight YET but he does have issue with Negan for the loss of his wife.
At this point, they’re more of the same. Let’s have season 8 be Alexandria vs. the Saviors and season 9 Alexandria vs. yet another psycho army. I think they really need to diverge from the comics after they deal with Negan.
