Thank you lovey! What is your opinion on Dwight? I’m thinking he really didn’t know. I also think it isn’t a bad idea to have a “good” guy in with Negan (since Eugene is a total mess and it wouldn’t have bothered me AT ALL if they blew him to smithereens) :)
Dwight has as much reason to hate Negan as anyone...maybe more...and Daryl righteously shamed him, several times.
I’m reading the comics but things vary wildly from the TV plot.
Carol’s long dead in the books, Sophia is not, Andrea is still alive and boinking Rick and Michonne is hoked up with Ezekiel, and Daryl doesn’t even exist in that version of reality, so....
I’m not making bets.

Excellent question and one I asked myself............Regarding Sasha, I've been wrong on all my prior predictions including this one. I never would have thought that the poison pill was actually for her and that it would have resulted in the outcome it had. That was a brilliant but extremely sad end to her character...........
As for the Garbage Dump Gang, I couldn't believe how they turned on the good guys. Fortunately, they too got their butts blown away when the good guys were able to turn their weapons on them and fired away..........
The beating of Michonne was too hard to watch, especially how she had become super hero status within the group. But then again, the chick doing the beating looked to be an amazon..........fortunately she lost.
Good season ending and I especially enjoyed Negan's flipping the bird from his truck after getting his butt whipped and they were driving away.............
To me, that's symbolic of someone's last desperate attempt to make a statement after getting their butt kicked.........
There wasn't anything mysterious about that, if you watch the scene on the watch tower, all the good guys still have their firearms while the Garbage Group are standing behind them.
It wasn't until the opening of the casket containing Sasha and the ensuing mayhem that diverted the attention of the Garbage Group, thus allowing the good guys to turn and fire on them........
Do yourself a favor, don't overthink programs such as this. TWD is what it is, and that's a serial fantasy........
While attempted by the Japanese, Smell-o-vision hasn't been perfected yet.........LOL!

There are plenty of folks on here that are concerned about the homosexual agenda, and I would say, rightly so. Would you say, “Don’t overthink it?” If you watch nothing but filth, and walking dead is just as much filth as any porn out there, your thoughts are of garbage. As a result, one’s talk is of garbage. Eventually one finds oneself filled with and surrounded by garbage.
As I am very much a free market guy and more embracing of freedom than most here. I say you are absolutely free to fill yourself with and surround yourself with garbage. I simply feel the fascination with this genre is suspect and potentially dangerous, not to mention detached from reality. All fantasy is infantilism and society’s inability to put away childish things, as the Bible tells us to do, is potentially harmful to us.

I don’t watch anything that glorifies death. I do not care for vampires, monsters, zombies, etc. I do not like movies that glorify gangsters.
It is bizarre to me that enjoy this stuff. It is like the folks that seek to emulate biker gangs. There is something fundamentally wrong with someone who would wear a Nazi soldier’s helmet. There is something fundamentally wrong with someone who would tattoo themselves with a skull and cross bones or the grim reaper. This holds true for people who emulate rappers and other such people. Personally, I like it that people so clearly label themselves.
I’d also forgotten that we may only comment on things we agree with on this site. Sorry to upset you.
Sasha had a choice: choose Negan OR make darn sure she wouldn’t hurt “her people”. You got to admit.... she went out with dignity (simply because her death ensured she wouldn’t hurt others). I think (and boy.. have I been wrong before) when she said to Eugene that she hasn’t “given up on him” ... that was a foreshadowing. Eugene is struggling with being a top tier guy with Negan or the “cowardly, non fighting weird” guy with Rick and group. With other characters, I am more harsh in my judgement but with Eugene..... I like Sasha still has hope for him. With respect to the Garbage Dump gang... not surprised. NEVER trust a gal with a dye job THAT BAD. (snicker, snicker)

Also, watching Negan kill Rapey Davey makes him a more real-life villain. He actually thinks, in his own way, like Rick does. Rick wants to create a community, Negan does too. They have differing methods. I'm not sure Negan is truly a villain in the traditional sense. Because we are invested in Ricks group, we side with him. But if we had been invested, in the show, in Negan's group.... we'd boo every time Rick was on screen.
Least surprising come-out ever.
