Yeah, that’s been my operating assumption, but I think it’s gonna go down different than everybody thinks with an Assad extraction/exile.
Trump’s not a kaboom guy. He’s more of a get-this-rotten-tenant-outta-here guy. Will he put our guys down in the mix to keep the calm? I don’t sense he will.
But I do think it will happen tonight.

I think we all need to take a deep breath. Tillerson did not say we would remove Assad using military force. His quote:
“..process by which Assad would leave is something that requires an international community effort, by first to defeat ISIS within Syria, to stabilize the Syrian country to avoid further civil war, then to work collectively with our partners around the world with a political process that would lead to Assad leaving....”
Assad would leave by a political process.
We need to get back to what we are not talking about. Susan Rice, unmasking, etc.
