Dubya and Obama already did this for all intents and purposes. A fool and a traitor.

If Mexico took back the Southwest it would just change the location of the border Mexicans would cross to get out of Mexico

Where did you get that I think it’s funny? It looks as though California has already surrendered to the invaders, and I hope Trump does something to reverse that.

If we killed all the cartels and corrupt government officials in Mexico and installed rule of law there Mexico would be a great place to live. Better than some places over here.

Claro que si. Chinga Mejico.

The border could move up to New England and they’d want that, too.

Mexico may give up its rightful claim to ownership of Texas, California and the entire Southwest of the United States, but only if the U.S. government gives the hugely valuable prize of U.S. citizenship to many millions of Mexicans

Oops. Too late. Mexico went 0 for 2 years of battles in the Mexican-American war. The US flag was flying over Mexico City, which is about 900 miles away from the Texas border. Unlike every other country in history, we gave back all that conquered territory.

A lot of folks don’t know a US Colonel was the person in charge of Mexico for about a year. Apparently, our generals were busy.

Isn’t there some kind of irony in their claim that the land is Mexico’s, but U.S. citizenship is more valuable to them?

They are calling for a lawsuit that would aim to nullify the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo

Article VI of the constitution specifies that "treaties made under the authority of the United States shall be the supreme law of the land and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby." Such a lawsuit would be a tough row to hoe indeed.

The claims were settled at the peace ending the Mexico-U.S. war. Unless Mexico wants to go to war again. Ah, but the Mexican people and Mexican political class believe they already have - subversively, by illegal demographic invasion on top of the millions permitted legally.

“and fought their corrupt and inept government.”

The same government who actually started the war by attacking Texas first.

At least we get the treasonous honesty we knew was always behind the massive legal and illegal immigration - “peaceful” invasion and subversion.

A Mexican and a Texican were having an argument. Finally the Texican, exasperated, asked the Mexican, “Why do you hate the United States so much?” to which the Mexican replied, “Because not only did you steal half our country, you stole the half with the paved roads.
