What these modern day Mexicans don't know it that the Mexicans living in the area wanted out of Mexico and fought their corrupt and inept government. Some things don't change.

They are calling for a lawsuit that would aim to nullify the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo

Article VI of the constitution specifies that "treaties made under the authority of the United States shall be the supreme law of the land and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby." Such a lawsuit would be a tough row to hoe indeed.

The claims were settled at the peace ending the Mexico-U.S. war. Unless Mexico wants to go to war again. Ah, but the Mexican people and Mexican political class believe they already have - subversively, by illegal demographic invasion on top of the millions permitted legally.

“and fought their corrupt and inept government.”

The same government who actually started the war by attacking Texas first.

At least we get the treasonous honesty we knew was always behind the massive legal and illegal immigration - “peaceful” invasion and subversion.

Howsabout we offer to trade California to Mexico in exchange for the promise that all of their citizens currently in the US relocate there?

This article shows why illegal Mexicans should be kicked out of the country. They aren’t immigrants, they’re invaders.

This is why you can never validate liberal idiots, thry jst get more and more idiotic.

They know this is totally false but will appear concessionary to accept something less. When they are still totally false.

Uhh, if the descendants of those Mexicans from Texas and the Cession stayed in the US, they are citizens. And a little known fact anout the Mexican War. Mexico blieved it could win. The US Army had 18,000 officers and men under arms while the Mexican regular army was around 60,000. When Winfield Scott abandoned his line of supply from Vera Cruz and set off toward Mexico City the greatest general of the day, the Duke of Wellington, famously said “Scott is lost.” The illusion people have is thinking of Mexico and the US in contemporary terms. In 1846 the two nations were far more equal in terms of population and resources.

Given how many Mexicans have moved into the US - more than live in Mexico - I think the US has a perfect right to simply claim all of Mexico as it’s own territory. There’s certainly more logic behind such an act than the leftist fantasies about Mexican claims on any part of the US.

Howabout we just conquer Mexico again, take the cartel’s money to build the wall, and force all the leftists to live there. The Mexicans currently here would then migrate back home to where a lot of work would be available from the housing and other building boom. A lot of leftists are good businessmen surprisingly so they could make that part of the continent better until their leftist policies ruined it again like it has done to California.

Mexicans, who threw off the yoke of Spain some 23 years earlier and who had originally conquered the native tribes decided they didn’t want to be a part of some basket case nation, which was still nascent and then underwent further revolutions, overthrows and assassinations of leaders until the PRI was established in 1929.

Heck, even Mexicans of today want out from under the oppression and lack of opportunities and immigrate to America for a better life.

Mexico can’t even govern large swaths of their country and have freed control to the cartels so, they appear to me a government still include and emerging.

GFY...

Santa Anna gave up, the Lone Star State gave up on Mexico and California still carries the banner of The Bear Revolt on its State flag.
