Chuck got written out of the show early on. I remember Tom Bosley saying that Chuck got a basketball scholarship to the University of Outer Mongolia.

Chuck is now living as Charlene in San Francisco. The Cunninghams pretend s/he never existed because, in keeping with the times, families carried family secrets to the grave.
