Maybe it would’ve been more fun if you’d been eating Funyuns at the time.
It certainly wasn’t as depressing as the CBS dramadies of the mid70s.

Watched Happy Days once for about 5 minutes.Found it to be breathtakingly un-entertaining.Never watched again. I remember trying to watch the first episode of The Dukes of Hazzard. I found it relentlessly un-funny and predicted it would be cancelled in 13 weeks.

If it was after the first 1/2 season and first full season then, yes, I understand. It went downhill pretty fast.
I continued to watch until sometime before Fonzi jumped the shark. But it was more out of nostalgia than entertainment.
Laverne and Shirley was even worse EXCEPT the episode featuring Lenny and Squiggy. Hilarious. They even had a comedy LP that was pretty funny. Lenny and the Squigtones.
