Yeah, I know, The Register is always a little breathless and a little over-the-top, but I feel bad for having encouraged you guys to download the Creators Update, so I'm trying to avoid anybody getting in trouble over it.

The only ‘puter in our system that’s W10 is the laptop that’s used to communicate with Grandma’s business partners through Outlook. (They picked it, not Grandma....)

...and no, I don’t like *this* Outlook any more than I did the previous versions, although Redmond seems to have finally discovered SpamBlockers after all of these decades.

This bit of news re Creators Update just pushed my schedule for UNIX up to the top of the pile.

I may leave W10 on that laptop, but that crass violation of the KISS principle is only going to be there as a backup and that only until I can get Outlook to play nice in whatever pew of UNIX I select.

Bull....
