I lost my wife to ovarian cancer on the fifth . . . well, I didn’t really lose her - just a temporary separation as she is with her Saviour in glory.
“Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might!” (Ephesians 6:10)
The honest truth is that without the Lord’s presence in my life I do not know how I make it these last couple of weeks . . . but God is good - and He has a perfect plan for the lives of His children.
So true, Pilgrim’s Progress, the separation is temporary.
The widowers in our family will always be heartbroken, but they were such blessings for their wives here on earth.
Thank you for being a blessing to your wife. So sorry for your loss.
Gd bless you. May He comfort you as He does all mourners. I am so very sorry. Do something she would really love you to do, for her. A tribute to her or just a visit somewhere. My deepest condolences.
God bless you, sir, and lean on Him in this time. He WILL carry you.
May 5th marks 13 years since I lost my wife, 35 years old at the time, to cancer. Like you, I honestly do not know how people go through this without God.
