All it takes is for one “wrong” entity to get your private e-mail address, and it’s all over. In my case, I get ads about toenail fungus.

If you press the unsubscribe option that they give you, that let's them know that it is a legitimate E-MAIL. They personally might not send you any more E-MAIL, but they will sell off your address to other marketers. It only expands from there.

very concerned about my ‘private part’.
I have no idea why they were so concerned, as I was not.
It faded over time (the spam, not the ‘private part’).
