I’m sure it will be hard but I would advise being polite and respectful no matter how he treats you. Ask at the beginning of the class to get IN WRITING the requirements for the different grades. Do you best to comply. Document everything. If you still get a bad grade you will have some evidence at least.
Make sure, beforehand, that the academic credit is transferable and will fulfill the degree requirement.
Let me say that when you call a professor worthless you are not adding to your cause unless you follow that up with several examples. I suggest you come up with at least three very good examples where you show that people are not learning.
