You body’s normal pH is 7.40 with a range of 7.35 to 7.45

Your body has sophisticated acid-base control systems to maintain that pH and it’s going to fight any attempt to alter it.

pH readings outside of the normal range, acidosis and alkalosis, are usually the result of serious respiratory or metabolic illness.

You can also get alkalosis as a side effect from some medications, including diuretics. If you like the sensation of hyperventilating and panic attacks then go for it. But it won’t affect cancer and it’s cruel to give people false hope by telling them that it will.

People who believe in snake oil will not be convinced otherwise. The editor claims to be an engineer and notice her tag line. She is a believer in “alternative medicine,” not evidence based medicine. Sadly, there are several others with similar beliefs in the lies of the hucksters. Pelham, your comment is basic physiology, but it goes right over the heads of way too many people commenting here. These same people also don’t get the fact that enzymes only function in a narrow pH range necessary to sustain life.

.
Sodium Bicarbonate is not a base.

It doesn’t radically change body pH. Its a buffer, and that is why is is extremely effective against cancer.
