Stripes do give me migraines. Blinds at work, etc. I avoid them and turn away. No big deal. I ain’t start’n a case about it. I do know at least 4 women at my corporation,4 with active workers comp claims, that will use this in the future— guaranteed! One woman on my team goes from job to job, opens a workers comp claim, cashes out, and moves on to the next . 17 so far. I have known her since the 1980s. I warned them about her. They took no heed and hired her anyway.

“opens a workers comp claim, cashes out, and moves on to the next . 17 so far.”

Sounds like Illinois.

I hear that in some places they discourage such activity?

Years ago at work there was a new rule that required the black-and-yellow caution tape be applied to certain floor areas and machines. Over one weekend someone went crazy applying caution stickers and tape to my CNC machine. I could not stand near it without that tape triggering the full-blown migraine visual sparkly blind spots, nausea, bleah just thinking about it. It was everywhere - on the floor, all over the machine, near the power switch, everywhere.

So I gradually started peeling off all the offending crap, slowly so no one noticed it disappearing. The tape on the floor was soon too dirty to be seen, and the migraines never came back.
