They understand at a deep level that the world has passed them by and that they no longer understand what’s really going on. There is deep confusion — “Why isn’t Hillary 50 points ahead??”
His remarks remind me of the jocks at the high school reunion. That was the highlight of their lives and haven’t let go. The Al Bundy 3 touchdowns in 1 game syndrome.
