Another article on this subject said Sidwell Friends, where the Obama children and I believe Chelsea Clinton attended was deemed not "Republican friendly" by the Trumps. $38,000 a year to a billionaire is like a nickel to you and I.

This makes me wonder just how smart the President really is. The school seems oriented toward social justus bull crap.

$38k:Trump::$.05:T-Bird45 may be the appropriate statement of an analogy yet I still wouldn’t inflict that school’s ration of loopy leftism on my child for a minute. This choice has Melania written all over it.

$38,000 a year to a billionaire is like a nickel to you and I.

For an elementary/middle school, it's a bit pricey, even for that particular area (e.g., going rate for Catholic elementary schools in NW DC or the Potomac/Bethesda area is around $10K-$12K per year).

For a high school, it is on the high end of reasonable for that area (e.g., St Albans: $62K, Landon: $40K, Georgetown Day: $38K, Georgetown Prep: $38K, Holy Child: $31K, Visitation: $28K, St Anselms: $27K, The Heights: $26K, Holy Cross: $22K, Gonzaga: $21K)

“The Daily Caller reported that if Barron completes middle school at St. Andrew’s, he will be required to participate in “service learning activities” in the eighth grade. These activities include a two-day field trip to a soup kitchen in Washington in which students make, serve and eat a meal with the homeless and listen to their life stories.”

Nothing wrong with that whatsoever. Here in FR we’ve often decried the fact kids in this country have no sense of service; at least they’re getting exposure to it there.

"The school focuses on diversity, according to its website. “We value and respect all differences, including but not limited to age, ability, ethnicity, family structure, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status," it says. Less than half of the student population is white."

The reality of it is this is a mantra of all high end schools, don't even get me started on how I know.

As much as FR would like it we will not see this: The school is run by Nuns with Aluminum Rulers, Retired Marine DI's, and our culture norms and dress code are straight out of Leave it to Beaver.

Although if a school started up with that business model, we might be pleasantly surprised at it's success....

The school is quite expensive. For Barron's education up to high school, the price tag is $38,590 a year.

About $2,000 less than Sidwell Friends.

The school Trump & Melania chose has a 100% college rate. That impresses me.

Certainly, the nationwide Failure Factories that my tax money supports cannot even come close to that.

Let’s hope Barron isn’t bullied because of who his father is.
