Thank God. After seven decades of sponging off of our military and taxpayers, maybe the Germans really will start taking care of themselves (although I’ll believe it when I see it). Trump’s made a good start at any rate, and Merkel’s comments reaffirm that.

When Reagan and both George Bushes were in office you would hear a constant stream of Democrats in Congress advocate for less foreign aid and less US military intervention around the world. Isn’t this in essence the foreign policy of President Trump? The Democrats should be applauding him instead of condemning him. Oh, who am I kidding. The Democrats don’t have concrete beliefs on anything. They just go and say whatever they think appeals to the masses knowing full well they’ll have protection and cover provided by the MSM.
Uh-huh, Angie, and all of Europe is going to look to . . . Germany? Hardly likely. Half may, half will look to the UK and the US as a hedge against Germany.
