threatens the livelihoods and prestige of the permanent governing classMost of these people govern nothing. They are just leaches.

these elites in D.C.They are not elite. Most of them do nothing and have no real job skills. They do things like internet policy consulting and running NGOs getting money from the government to take tours of poverty and AIDS in Africa while staying in some of the finest hotels in the world, eating in the best restaurants and visiting safari parks that normal people spend a lifetime trying to save up for.

They should have respected our freedom of religion. When they started killing the unborn, pushing sex education, and destroying marriage we couldn't live under their boot any longer.

We were best men at each other’s weddings. He lives in Dearborn is tan and has been dhimmied to an extent, although I think he’s seen the light on that.

If elections don’t really matter and we’re not a democracy then at the very least that will be made clear.
I’ll never stop supporting Trump and I love it when he makes MAXIMUM TROUBLE.

The threat that has Washington quaking is the first serious effort in a long time to curb federal regulatory power, wasteful spending, and a propensity to run up mountainous budget deficits and debt. Already curbing federal regulatory power
Will probably get somewhere on wasteful spending
Budget deficit improvement - Not at all clear that this will happen

You are absolutely right.

In this case I am using “elites” as a pejorative.

I got it. I just don’t know how many people realize how utterly useless these folks are. These are not folks who somehow wandered into jobs a bit over their level of competency. These are folks who were never competent to do anything whatsoever.
