I stopped reading at “assimilated German Jewess.” Either the author is horrifically tone-deaf, or his head is full of stuff I don’t want to know.
He’s got an agenda.
“Jewess” is unfortunate diction. I let it slide as a cultural difference. But the whole article seems to me to be jamming some people into a template and then saying, “See there? They’re just wicked!”
One of the great tutors at my college once said that Heidegger was a rare thing, a great philosopher who was a bad man. I think that’s about right.
“Jewess” is not a pejorative term.
