The plight of Charlie Gard – the brain-damaged British baby whose parents recently lost a legal battle to keep him on life support – has now tugged at heart strings as far away as the Oval Office.
President Trump on Monday tweeted his willingness to lend a hand – and in doing so exposed the debate over who should make life-and-death decisions for Charlie to a massive audience.
“If we can help little #CharlieGard, as per our friends in the U.K. and the Pope, we would be delighted to do so,” Trump wrote.

Trump should use his influence to deal with the UK bureaucracy that stands in the way of the parents wishes for their child.

Yes I do. I’d love it if he sent a Trump plane to the UK after all the nasty remarks I read on the Daily Mail UK, people saying this kid should die and that American doctors could not help him.
I’m calling it here and now. Watch if they let this kid come to America, they will find he has no bran damage and he will grow up to one day read all this crap that people wanted him dead.

Yes he has!! I hope that President Trump can help this child come to America..the reason why the American press hasn’t covered this story is simple, it shows that Socialized Medicine is a FAILURE..they want it here in America but don’t want to show what the Govt does to children who are ill, they “Allow” their parents to watch them die..how nice of the Govt to “Allow” that. The parents have raised over 1.2 million dollars if they want to bring this lil guy to America for experimental treatment its none of the UK Govt’s business!

I read on twitter that he’s still on life support and that he has brain function, that this whole story about him having severe brain damage is pure BS..that he can even breathe on his own..get this child to America so he can have a chance!
This is just the kind if stuff about Donald Trump few people know and worse yet, his enemies claim he doesn't care a whit about, yet all those people who lost loved ones to the scourge of illegal aliens know!
