Yeah but the CA was right there as well - but in any case that guy’s flying days are over plus - I do hope he has enough money to pay for that diversion. Just a minor one is over $25,000 if it’s your fault. This one they’ll have to sell the farm.
I hope it was the cheap stuff.
Ending up in the hospital from trying to get this drug addled 20 something under control.
Even better

Agreed. What a brave woman.
Some of us do read more than excerpts on FR.
***First class passenger*** ‘hit on the head with wine bottles’ to subdue him as flight is forced to return to the US
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/07/07/first-class-passenger-hit-head-wine-bottles-subdue-flight-forced/
“A probable cause statement written by FBI special agent Caryn Highley said Hudek was sitting in the first row of the Boeing 767’s first-class section.”
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/delta-passenger-broke-wine-bottle-over-mans-head-fbi-says/
As for the injured passenger:
“ein weiterer Passagier wurden mit zum Teil schweren Gesichtsverletzungen in ein Krankenhaus gebracht.”
https://www.tag24.de/nachrichten/seattle-peking-delta-airlines-flugbegleiterin-zieht-volle-weinflasche-ueber-kopf-von-passagier-289003
It would have been cheaper for the family if they had kept going and turned him over to the Chinese authorities - then they’d just have to pay for the cost of the bullet.
“passenger who lunged for an exit door “
He could have killed everyone on the plane by opening the door mid-flight.
The flight attendant should get a medal.
Just ask the shoe bomber and the underwear bomber.
Misleading headline it makes the Delta flight attendant seem guilty of beating up ordinary passengers (and, of course, that was the intent of the headline).
It should have read: Heroic Delta Flight Attendant Puts Herself in Harms Way to Prevent Violent Passenger from Killing Everyone.
Yes!
Misleading headline was clearly the intent.
It does appear that the Media has scrubbed the reference to him flying on a “companion ticket”. A blogger still has a reference to having seen it on NBC; I don’t recall if that (NBC, not the blogger) is where I spotted it yesterday.
In any event, I can’t find that information anywhere today. But that’s why folks are focusing on his mother working for Delta.
THANK YOU!!!
Actually, he couldn’t. they won’t open at altitude even for a green Incredible Hulk.
On a final approach, possibly. Or if someone has already blown out a window or a hole has opened in the fuselage a la Southwest or Aloha depressurizing the plane.
I read more than the excerpt. I read the entire link from ABC News. Not sure why you are posting 3 links from the telegraph which wasn’t in the original post at all.
I was posting other links for you since you appeared to doubt my comments which weren’t reflected in my original post. I also have his father’s home address, thus the reference to the neighborhood, but I won’t post that per FR policy. It’s readily available online, or at least it was this morning; it may have been scrubbed by now.
“A Linda Hine Hudek from Tampa is a Delta customer service employee. Im guessing she is Jojos mom.”
Correction:
“Former Customer Service Employee”
You are responsible for the conduct of those traveling on your passes.
Don’t know about free but he was using a family perk.
snip
According to a criminal complaint released Friday, Hudek — who was traveling in first class
on a dependent travel pass, a perk afforded to family members employed by the airline —
attempted to open the forward exit door on the right side of the airliner.
He’s a scary crazy looking dude. No doubt he’s acted out more than once in the past.
In defense of football hooligans, the Lion of London Bridge was from Millwall. And in the words of his mum “He’s quite nippy and lippy”. And God bless him too for fighting those stabbing islamic terrorist bastards.
Like I mentioned to PAC35, the snip you provided wasn’t in the article in this thread. I’m assuming you are using other sources for this information as it is not provided in the ABC News link in post #1.
As I mentioned in an earlier post why is where no video footage of this fight on the plane with there being 207 passengers as well as a full staff of Delta employees?
