First of all he met with a Russian. This Russian says she does not work or represent the Russian Government. Her main goal had to do with adoptions. I fail to see the problem with this.

There were a whole string of events connected to the adoption restriction. I think part of it was Russia said...no Russian children to gays.
Donald Jr. had the understanding that she was representative of the Russian govt. This was before the meeting. This is one of the bigger issues. It isn’t collusion and it isn’t illegal. It is though not helpful.
The emails imply this is info from the Russian gov and how they want to help Trump. All the claims of never having had any contact “in collusion” with “the Russians” is totally blown. The real question is why did this Rob guy lie about what this woman would have when he meets her. It stinks of a setup, they’ve been planning this for a year.
The cry will be “so what else haven’t you been honest about? we need endless investigations now!!”. And they will get it. It matters not that the Dems did exactly the same thing with the fake “dossier”. It matters not that this isn’t illegal, the impropriety and credibility are the issue. He was naive, shouldn’t have accepted the invite. Of course, the Dems can do this at will, the media won’t go after them and the Repubs probably wouldn’t try such a dirty trick.
This will now just be an endless sh*t storm with cries of “Trump/Russia collusion” to perpetually undermine the President....and now they can’t claim no connections.
