At a theoretical level, IIRC, due to things like finer motor skills and tendency to notice different colors and patterns. In reality, I’m not sure how well the idea holds up.

Probably depends on the shooting environment and how much hunting experience they have done as a kid. If it is muddy, hot, with critters crawling all over you probably not for most females. Hunting a lot helps you understand how nature such as rabbits and birds reacts to changes in the environment.
For sniping in the city it would be less important and women would not be impacted as much.
Russian had some very successful female snipers in WWII.
