As does Game of Thrones with their ice zombies! I have to confess I just don't get zombies! I find the whole concept ridiculous! I mean if they're dead but somehow they're animate why does shooting them do any good? Does that make them dead dead? I've seen shows where they chop them up with swords, axes, chain saws. Why does that stop them? Wouldn't their sliced & diced dead body parts still want to eat your brains? (And why brains for zombie food?) If you blew them to atoms with a nuclear weapon would their atoms come after you? If not, why not? Ok I just wonder about these things and yes I do ruin movies for other people! 🤣

Zombies are Haitian folklore. The West started thinking about hem around the time of the publication of ‘The Magic Island’ by W.B. Seabrook in 1929.

Idea behind zombies, is that of a human, whose soul has left the body, but the living body is now occupied/possessed by an evil spirit.

I wish I could share the audio for the fake ad “Night of the living deadheads” (circa 1970s or 1980s).

They used Grateful Dead music and audio snippets from the original movie.

“Why do they do this?”

“They’re all messed up!”

We all can blame Shakespeare for that with his “suspend your disbelief” mantra.
