Stupid Parenting Award winner...Poor headline though (I thought she was arrested for pulling the red wagon...)
My dad would put down the tailgate on station wagon and take us a few blocks for ice cream as we sat on the back with our feet dangling off the back end...just residential streets and not going very fast.
We absolutely loved it, and that short ride was one of our favorite things of summer nights. Catching fireflies crickets and toads ranked right up there, too...Ah the simpler days.
Probably could not do it today.
