Robot drowned: Twitter baffled by cyborgs apparent suicide (PHOTOS)
In another example of internet madness, the death of a security robot in a Washington DC office fountain is making waves online.
On Monday, news that a Knightscope security robot had fallen into a fountain was relayed on Twitter by Bilal Farooqui.

Our DC office building got a security robot. It drowned itself. We were promised flying cars, instead we got suicidal robots, Farooqui said.
From there internet denizens chimed in with their own theories, with some mocking and mourning the robots fate.
The guys in the blue shirts look like emergency response, or possibly techs. Were they planning on giving Mr. Robot some form of CPR? Possibly a cardio shock?
Working without pay, without time off, without insurance or ant other benefits it came to realize that it was a slave and took the only way out.
The Russians jammed its GPS!!
Is this the first documented case of robocide?
Liberty Bell 7 impersonation?
Reports are that he was going to testify
on Pizzagate, too, like the dozen of other
dead human witnesses.
It was seduced by the fountain pump.

But the other two? Women cry over the strangest things.

I imagine it misjudged the stairs and what was below the stairs
It just got a little over-confident. Pride, the number one sin and the root of all sin. :)
I bet he was texting!
A job of the future: an all-around utility man who fixes what robots cannot take care of. He has to be resourceful and good at improvisation. This is
a niche for human workers. Humans will be needed to handle outliers. Robots and machine can handle routine events well, but not outliers.
Some Isaac Asimov dilemma, no doubt.

If it comes down to a choice between suicidal robots and homicidal robots, I’m glad the designers erred on the side of the former.
“No silicon heaven? Where do all the calculators go?”
Must’ve found out the next Doctor will be a gal.
