Considering “Hamilton” won all the Tony Awards last year, do you really need to ask?
“Considering Hamilton won all the Tony Awards last year, do you really need to ask?”
I am not a Hamilton apologist, I’ve not seen it, nor have any interest in seeing it. Broadway is just yuck.
But the casting really has no bearing in thiis case with respect to historicity or the ideas or life being presented, if they were being presented.
In other words if the okay reflects and gets across Hamilton’s words and ideas and aspects of his life, it doesn’t really matter who the actor is.
As it is, I think it is a gimmick that worked.
The same could be true for this Dunkirk movie, too. But it would be dumb or weird.
