Calling it “beyond heartless,” Cocoa police are denouncing a video that shows a man drowning and crying out in distress, while five teens watch and laugh.
Jamel Dunn, 31, of Cocoa, drowned in a retention pond in Cocoa on July 9, police said. His body was not discovered until July 12.
Shortly after the discovery, a video surfaced on social media that shows Dunn in the water while teenagers nearby mock and curse him, police said. Dunn cries out, and a burst of laughter ensues from the teens, one of whom recorded the video on a phone, police said.

Been a video going around don’t know if you all seen it about a dog that saved a baby deer from drowning. It’s cute. A deer who’s enemy is a dog both found found a friend that day.
Not these scum called humans. Okay they are not trained lifeguards, they can’t even swim but they had either Obamaphones or smartphone how else were they recording this? They did not call 911, not one of them. The thought never crossed their minds.

These were just some stoned teenagers whose perception of what they saw was shaped by their inebriated state.
They were afterwards scared to report what they saw because they were underage kids using illegal drugs at the time. And because the idiot who drowned himself was an angry violent man.
They need drug rehab, and they need it for a period of several years so it sticks. The military academies we used to have would be ideal.
All of the people calling for these kids to be locked up and the key thrown away or to be drowned themselves or to have their names posted as a fourteen year old living in the same neighborhood as the dead gangbanger are indeed a lynch mob. Or to throw them behind bars with adults.
And the more the lynch mob - yourself included ratchets up their defense of their selfrightious lynching the more I ratchet up the counter attack in defense of these kids.

Those basic physics, combined with parents who don’t teach their kids water safety... can be fatal.
