I haven’t watched the video, but sometimes I wonder why I lean heavily towards conservatism and my sibling does not? Another sibling is likeminded, and another is blown by the wind and could be persuaded to be liberal.

It’s very interesting.

There’s a strong correlation with the personality trait openness / novelty seeking with liberalism. There’s also a correlation with conscientiousness (attention to detail, cleanliness, wanting it order in life) with conservatism.
One of the end results of that is that liberals don’t care about the logical inconsistencies in their arguments most of the time, feelings matter more.
It is likely why liberals have almost no disgust factor but conservatives do.
