There have also been a large number of insane serial killers who were once in the military, but then went on to become serial killers, including David Berkowitz (the "Son of Sam"), Gary Ridgway (the "Green River Killer"), Jeffrey Dahmer, Dean Corll, Timothy McVeigh, Charles Ng, Charles Whitman, Gary M. Heidnik, Howard Unruh, and Ronald Gene Simmons. These lunatics somehow got past the screening processes into the military, but they did not belong there, just like these ball-less nutballs like Beck do not belong in the military.
There are also a number of terrorists who served in the military (like that muzzie in Fort Hood not long ago). Terrorists also should be screened out of the military, as much as possible.
