Then a Mac Performa 200 with 80 megs and a squealing modem. Still have it in the attic.

Yep, I was soooo into DOS, I read everything I could get my hands on.
I love it when the millenials here in the company are having a problem and I go to their computer and put it in DOS mode and start typing stuff. They have no clue as to what I’m doing. To them it’s like ‘magic’.
When one asks what I am doing I simply say, “I’m talking directly to the microprocessor.”
Which is usually followed by, “Oh, okay. Whatever”..................

No blogs, so the only things we’d see are the established, mainstream press, i.e., Fox, ABC, WaPo, the NYT?
