By definition not evolution- not random change that is found to be beneficial, but rather selective breeding to bring out characteristics that are there but perhaps non-dominant. Aspect like hair texture, color, size, etc, all there, just not cultivated.

Words matter. Evolution is not the expression of eye color or such included genetics, but rather new- like a doggy with wings or a prehensile tail- THAT would be evidence of random change that is beneficial in and of itself.

So much of what is called “evolution” is just latent features in the background.

Kinda like finding out your cell phone has a print capability- not random, spontaneous, but a built in characteristic rather found though previous ignorance of the operator......
